This Panorama was taken of a little side road just past Upper Mesa Falls. I called it Moose Pond because when we stopped there was a group of about 3-5 Female Moose standing on the other side. Unfortunately, by the time I was close enough to get a good shoot of them, they had run off into the trees. But I decided while standing there that it could make a good panoramic shoot, so I took it. I don’t have a tripod, and forgot to go get one from the library, so I stood in one place, and hoped that my hand didn’t shake. I think that they turned out well. I combined them with Photoshop, and filled in the blank spots using Content-Aware Fill, and then edited the whole picture in Camera Raw to get the colors.

This picture was also taken a little above Upper Mesa Falls on a little road, but it is on the other side of the street. I had pulled off because I thought it looked pretty, and we drove to the end of the road to turn around and found this pond instead of the little one we were originally shoot. We spent some time taking pictures here, mostly with my roommate in it so she could send a picture to her Mom. but I loved it here, it was really pretty. Again, I combined them in Photoshop, filled in the blanks with Content-Aware Fill, and edited it in Camera Raw.

  1. You had a great week Liesl! I love both of your panoramic shots. I love the vibrancy of both of them. The angle that you got of the reflection pond was great. I also loved your Camera Raw edits. The picture with the waterfall and the raninbow was a lucky shot. Great composure and editing!
